Migration To Alec
To all our valued customers:
Here at TinkerHost, we have decided to upgrade from Server 1 to Alec in order to serve you better. Alec has twice the amount of resources as Server 1, allowing us to expand for future growth and development of the company. We will also be able to provide better quality of service to our clients by moving from Server 1 to Alec. All websites have been transferred over to Alec. Please make sure you have your domain pointed to the dns servers below. Please also allow 24 to 48 hours for your domain to propagate to the new server.

Will there be any changes to my account?
No. Just make sure you are pointing your websites to ns1.tinkerhost.com and ns2.tinkerhost.com.
What’s in it for me?
Your website will perform at twice the speed and reliability on Alec compared to Server 1. This also gives us a chance to work out any bugs or issues you may have experienced on Server 1.
Using Custom Name Servers/Cloudflare
If you are using Cloudflare or a custom DNS server that is not TinkerHost, please point your domain’s A record to 184.108.40.206. Please be aware that this IP address is only to be used for your domain’s A record, not for custom DNS. For custom DNS, please use the following IP addresses:
ns1.tinkerhost.com - 220.127.116.11
ns2.tinkerhost.com - 18.104.22.168
ns3.tinkerhost.com - 22.214.171.124
ns4.tinkerhost.com - 126.96.36.199
Notice: We have experienced issues with NS2’s IP address so we have moved its DNS server to a different vendor.
If you are a reseller of TinkerHost, please consult your welcome email, which will be delivered once the migration is complete. For security purposes, we do not publicly display our resellers’ name servers. If you have any questions please submit a ticket to Technical Support via https://sentportal.com/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=6
We thank you for your patience during the server migration and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
